I have been working at ABB (United States) full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great advancement for engineers and chemist, international company, great opportunities to work abroad, their educational assistance is a wonderful benefit

    Cons

No advancement for employees who are not engineers or chemist. Most contract employees who are hired as full time employees are not given a decent salary to begin their career with the company.

I worked at ABB (United States) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Approachable management. Dedicated employees.

    Cons

Typical corporate issues. HR group is small, overworked, and not always on site. IT Helpdesk is based in India. Upper management is a bit too disconnected at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For the most part, job well done. Recent growth will bring its own challenges but a focus on two way communications with those in the trenches will prevent many potential problems.
