    Pros

Excellent credit union to work for. Takes care of their employees. Good management would recommend to anyone looking for a place where you count.

    Cons

Only issue would be the cost of health insurance is very high for family's . The other concern is limited PTO when you begin.

    Pros

    Location was perfect for me

    Cons

Only 1-2 people in many departments so if someone is out or at lunch you are at a stand still. No real documented processes so there is much discrepancy. Insensitive co-workers. Antiquated processes. Many mistakes on member accounts across the board.

    Advice to Management

Try caring about your employees and honestly listening to what they have to say. Take a closer look at branches.

    Pros

    Enjoyed my coworkers...coworkers. ...coworkers

    Cons

If your looking to get promoted, lazy, and in good with HR, they will create a position even if it doesn't make sense. But if you're a hard worker you might as well give it up! You'll never advance.

    Pros

Great staff to work with in the corporate office. The credit union does a lot for the staff to make them feel cared for. Pay is comparable for a $500 million dollar credit union.

    Cons

No much empowerment here, The board is too active in the daily duties of the business. This credit union has grown very quick but still operates like a much smaller one. The benefits leave something to be desired (high cost), mediocre 401K match. If you are coming from a larger credit union there is a culture shock.

    Pros

Really big on charity! Pays better than most of the large banks, and incentives for everything! Beget culture. Great potential, great to members.

    Cons

Too small, teller systems are too tedious, not maximizing potential in certain locations to get more business

    Advice to Management

Take note to the one location that had the biggest turnover

    Pros

Great company. Good benefits. Good pay for a teller

    Cons

No point in interviewing for promotions. They know who they'll hire.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees how YOU want to be treated.

    Pros

Very nice co-workers and they really do care about staff here. CEO is active in the community and a genuine person.

    Cons

Very little empowerment to department managers or the VP's for that matter. Really just one person makes every decision in this credit union and it's not the CEO. It can take months before decisions get made. Turnover is very high for a credit union. ABNB has grown to $500 million but it is micro managed like a $100 million shop which runs off staff.

    Advice to Management

    Empower the staff

    Pros

Small company that's growing. Banking hours. Pay is ok especially if you get the floating incentive. Yearly bonus.

    Cons

Pushy with sales. Hard to advance.

    Pros

Small credit union, most staff are very friendly. Decent benefits, nothing great but pretty good. The do seem to care about their employees.

    Cons

Salary is on the low side of the scale. Too many branches for the asset size of the credit union. Need more support in the home office.

    Advice to Management

Pick up the pay a bit, I have started looking for other options because the pay is just too low.
