Current Employee – been working at ABS-CBN

Pros – Good place to gain experience. Fun place to work. Friendly environment. Liked the ability of being able to travel occasionally.

Cons – Not really much room for growth within the company. Part time work only, no benefits. Although, it does make it possible to pair with a second job.

Advice to Senior Management – The only feedback I really have is to provide some full time positions or some options for medical benefits for part time employees if needed.

Pros – The people here are very friendly , good learning experience as entry level. Casual working environment. Good balance between startup and corporate atomosphere.

Cons – There is a tendency of middle managing getting in the way of progress of projects. There is a lack of an efficient pipeline process.

Advice to Senior Management – Know the value of your employees. The people here work very hard for the company yet receive very little in return. Stop cutting corners, you get what you pay for.

Cons – Here in RNG we usually seek fro our over time fees, but since we are satellite locally, we understand the policy here in RNG.

Pros – work can be done in a matter of hours & your free for the rest of the day

Cons – No increase, no union, not the same benefits with the parent company.

Advice to Senior Management – Rather than hiring new employees why not increase the salary of the current employees.

Pros – The company is involved in cable and satellite programming, print publishing, audio recording and distribution, video/audio post production, film distribution, music publishing, content development and programming, interactive media, restaurant and food service, movie production, and real estate activities, as well as non-vessel common carrier operations.

Cons – It also engages in the digital film archiving and central library of content licensing and transmission. In addition, the company provides cable television services, money remittance services, digital electronic content distribution, telecommunication, trading, educational/training services, and production services.

Pros – I love working here ... you will be really a family.

Cons – well, it's the compensation for the provincial employees that is giving some heartbreaks here.

Advice to Senior Management – I hope they will consider to increase the compensation of the employees within the regional network groups. I also hope that the national officials would prompt their regional administrative staff to listen into the clamors and thoughts of the provincial employees - because some just fell to deaf ears.
