    Pros

great passionate people who truly care about the work they do. Lots of ideas and passion to lead in the micro finance space.

    Cons

too much politics for such a small organization. silos across regions causes duplication of efforts, and everyone wants to protect their turfs.

    Advice to Management

create one cohesive organization which is more streamlined.

    Pros

Organizational culture is great -- hard working, dedicated to the mission, great professional development and career growth opportunities. Accion is a complex organization with lots of opportunity to learn about the microfinance space.

    Cons

Some lack of communication between upper management and staff as well as at all levels between departments. Not a huge con, but the amount of time that it will take to learn about the organization, its various programs, and where your work fits will likely take longer than at many other organizations.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on opening communication channels between mc/oc and the rest of the organization and provide more opportunities to engage with each other.

    Pros

They have a great benefits package and a lot of flexibility to designate your own schedule.

    Cons

The hypocrisy is unbelievable, promoting of the mission and values with so many managers who display a complete lack of respect or passion for the true mission of the organization. There is also not any room for growth.

    Advice to Management

    Practice what your preach.
