    I have been working at ACH of America

    Pros

    Opportunity, financial security and excellent compensation, creative leading edge products and services, competitive and professional, employee total respect across the board. Maintain's staff long term, minimal turnover. There is a committment by management to developing staff and building from within, and a committment to clients that goes beyond the ordinary. This company will go the extra mile to live up to committments to clients and employees, and has a solid 20 year game plan for growth and profit, not a short term mindset. Even in the most recent economic downturn nationally, the company has continued to grow with profit and has excellent target markets in the educational and medical client base fields.

    Cons

    A regional company, not in every state, locations only in the Southeast. Though there have been plans to grow outside the southeastern U.S., they have not developed as fast as hoped, primarily in the Southwestern states.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to develope and build from within. To grow faster, management needs to focus on the core services more and consider new marketing plans and solutions.

    Pros

    ACH is a small company with great potential. They have a great head start on a niche market in the payroll, PEO industry. Most of the people who work for this company are great people and hard workers, those people make this a good place to work. The benefits are solid and the pay is respectable.

    Cons

    There is no marketing help to speak of, and for a sales rep in B2B sales, marketing is absolutely essential.
    Some of the employees and even some of the management suffers from an inability to properly communicate. Also, there is a problem with flaky decision making at the upper levels.

    Marketing is the key to making this good company great
