Pros
Moderate monetary compensation
Large Company, well known
Lots of connections within the company to move from one department to another
Cons
Lacking in management professionalism. Company seems to favor seniority versus one's ability to complete the job. Very little constructive criticism
Advice to Senior Management
Give more constructive criticism. Give more to your employees. We need to be told we're doing a good job. Treat us like you want us!
Pros
Good salary and benefits, opportunities to learn new technologies......................................................................
Cons
Very political with frequent layoffs and reorgs................................
Lack of vision of senior management
Too much infighting......
Pros
Great starting point. For entry level sales, I would be surprised to hear of a better start. Training is put foremost
Cons
Quickly grows dull. No residual income. No incentive to keep clients happy after a certain amount of time. Huge disconnect between sales and service
Advice to Senior Management
Bridge the gap between sales and service. Give both parties more incentive to retain clients. Focus more on quality clients
Pros
Travel is the main and if you like teaching.
Cons
Needs to be fair and raise salary not drop
Advice to Senior Management
majority of them are very good but you still run into good old boys.
Pros
Benefits are just great. They give employees all they are looking for including a pension. They people-collegues are very helpful and informative.
Cons
No clean cut why to evaluate your sales which allowed them to pay you when and how they deemed appropriate
Advice to Senior Management
Before holding employees responsible for not performing well. Look first to the managemnt in charge and decided was it based on there direction that effected the departments performance. If a whole department is not meeting its quota-one should ask -are the quotas realistic and what role is that direct manager playing?
Pros
Stable company, good benefits, relatively progressive and respectful management, with rare exceptions. Knowledge gained at ADP is useful in the job market place due to ADP's wide footprint in the industry.
Cons
Some departments do not know how to have employees balance work demands against the needs for personal time. Employees (called associates) can lose out on their family and social life, and opportunities for volunteer activities or hobbies if they don't klnow how to manage their boss' requests.
Advice to Senior Management
Be on the lookout for frontline managers that burn out willing employees. Hard workers end up leaving because they don't know how to say no. Instead, they do everything that is asked, no matter how many personal hours they give up, vacations they cancel, etc. without complaint, and then get jobs elsewhere without warning. These quiet types are valuable employees that are needlesly lost to satisfy short-term goals. Managers always wait till a valuable employee is walking out the door to address work loads. Departing associates will not complain on exit interviews, knowing full well they could be burning a bridge.
Pros
Very stable company ; so good job security
Cons
Lack of vertical movement in most portions of the company
Pros
Stability of our company is outstanding. It's nice to know that as long as I keep my act together, my company is not going anywhere without me. You get that true feeling of stability as long as you are consistent with your own production.
Cons
Working from home you don't get to see your co-workers too often. Wish we got together as a team more than we do.
Advice to Senior Management
I would reccomend Sr. Management shadow with employees in all groups to get a sense of the real day to day. Similar to the show 'Undercover Boss'. Management does a great job with the company, but this would help them get a true understanding of the challenges we face in the trenches.
Pros
Great learning experience, great people to work with
Cons
hours are long, especially at year end
Pros
professional work environment, gives good training internally.
Cons
culture a little funny, but it works.
Advice to Senior Management
good job overall.
