Pros
Good benefits, flexible workplace. Opportunities for growth since it is such a large company. Stock is solid and a good investment.
Cons
Not a bad place to work. Sometimes policies can be traditional and change can be a little slow. But bad things are addressed.
Pros
Knowledge acquired will translate well to other employers needs.
Well respected company
Great benefits.
Cons
Career moves
Each department runs as it's own business sector, which tends to blur the lines of career movement in a timely fashion
Implementation area tends to burnout employees without regard for workload.
Management only recognizes this as the employee has one foot out the door, too slow to react.
Advice to Senior Management
Stick to scheduled one on ones, find out what your employees have going on in their lives, make the employee feel appreciated and reprimand employees who need it.
Walk the walk!!
Pros
Strong Sales Management
Opportunity for Growth
Stong Benefits
Cons
Lower Compensation than comprable sales positions
Pros
Its salary of Financial Analyst is very competitive in this field, and it often provides the chances of training for our employees.
Cons
The pressure and amount of work is also great in our field, people can hardly balance the work and lifes well.
Advice to Senior Management
Offer more headcounts in some offices.
Pros
Work culture in ADP and its home away home, each person counts
Cons
monetary growth is less and that is one reason may be people look out outside for better monetary benefits. but its a great place for learning and development.
Advice to Senior Management
none
Pros
All good, good people like a family
Cons
year end you can never take a family vacation during the holiday season
Pros
Great opportunities for training and learning.
Cons
Low annual rate increases and low increases if you change pay grades.
Advice to Senior Management
When the company is making a profit, its ok to give ees increases that help them cope with inflation.
Pros
It is a well known and established company. They pay decently and have a great benefits package. Upward movement is a bit more difficult.
Cons
I originally really enjoyed my position within the company and the direction it was headed. Once the economy tanked, management changed my responsibilities and most everything I liked about it. Layoffs continued for years to protect the bottom line.
Advice to Senior Management
As with most companies, it's a matter of employees being more important than profits. This, of course, is not limited to ADP in the United States.
Pros
ADP has an incredibly competent senior leadership team who openly communicates and clearly values their employees. They recently released new mission, vision and values, all of which are focused and energizing. Developmental opportunities are extensive with TONS of training available both online and through a Knowledge Pay Program.
Cons
Like any large company, internal communications are sometimes a challenge, but ADP recognizes this and is constantly striving for improvements. There are a variety of communication methods that allow us to more easily collaborate.
Pros
esablished, well recognized and the leader in their space in the industry. They have an abundance of internal resources to find information.
Cons
very tactical sales tactics, back end infrastructure and systems are outdated. Technology is built on very old platforms. A very disorganized sales structure and weak comp plan.
Advice to Senior Management
Focus on your people and build comp plans to reward performance. Find a way to "de-commodotize" your solutions as best you can
