I have been working at ADP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Best company I have ever worked for: 1) They know how treat their employees as a professionals. 2) They train you and don't expect you to be a genius after the first two or three months like other companies I worked at. 3)They reward you just by hitting your goals. 4)This is a career not a job. Management have all been reps for over 8 years so its not a kid who just sold well for a year trying to teach you what to do. 5)Oh and selling a product that people need is always a great thing too. 6) Money! 7) the company knows and respects you have a personal life outside of work.

    Cons

I have to wear a suit everyday (oh well)

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what your doing.

I have been working at ADP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company, believes in family first. People are awesome. Management getting better

    Cons

Outsourcing of jobs within ADP lowers the quality of our product. Language barrier with outsourcing is crazy. ADP doesn't need to save money by outsourcing. Keep tenured people.

    Advice to Management

Stop outsourcing, clients are not happy. Ruins quality of final product.

    I worked at ADP full-time

    Pros

They give you full on sales training. You get to travel to NJ and stay for a week. Once you are back, your managers work with you one on one to develope your skills.

    Cons

The territory cross over is very challenging. Even when you do a deal, multiple people will try and claim that is theirs.

    Advice to Management

Management was great, they know the ropes and provide great advice.

I have been working at ADP full-time

    Pros

    Leader in Human Capital Management

    Cons

Leadership team treats employees like children; you don't know the definition of micro management until you work at ADP

    Advice to Management

Inspire rather than Require. Spend all the money you allocate for micro management on true incentives. If you had so many happy customers, you wouldn't need so many sales people - referals would be flowing in.....but they are not.

    Pros

Awesome culture; Great incentives for success; Strong training program; Great Leadership. The camaraderie amongst coworkers is truly the best part of the job. Going into the office never feels like a chore.

    Cons

Tough job with a lot of failure. Requires you to bounce back and learn from your mistakes. There's a great training program but a lot to learn on the fly as your training takes place over 9 months.
