I worked at ADP full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

The job coming up from the ground floor was great always something to do. I worked with some of the greatest people I've ever known. I advanced fairly quickly and the compensation wasn't bad. I've been gone a while now but I'd go back there

    Cons

After a few years I reached a point where I was treading water and there was no where to go unless I was willing to move. So I moved on. That was 2008

I worked at ADP full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good work life balance when needed.
    Great benefits.

    Cons

If you know how to manipulate people and politics, this is the place.
Not focus on technology, no future growth for employees, no training.
The company has no strategy for growth. It just lives on the interest earned by moving funds. Not sure how does it still have AAA rating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think about the employees. Work like an organization. Make decisions quickly and you have the talent to move faster in the industry. Use the talent in the company

    Pros

    Great work/life balance
    Descent Pay
    Good People

    Cons

    Way too many politics
    Lots of favortism

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire manager that can "manage." Don't just promote someone who did well for a year or two. Work to develop your new hires. Instead of just sitting them at a desk and telling them to "reach out" to the top reps, make the top reps mentor new people and teach them the ropes.
