Focus on those who are not making it and leave the performers alone

Pros

Most colleagues are decent people you can get along with. Its tough to make this long enough with 20 words. I hope this works.

Cons

The sales force under bids jobs (Good for the customer). They do not hire techs with appropriate skills. They want green techs for and advanced level of work. Go figure

Advice to Senior Management

Hire TECHS not GREEN TECHS. Advanced Integration is not analog its digital. Provide more training for techs. Stop under bidding jobs.

Pros

People are nice, good work environment, work at your own pace, no one is on your back. Big company where everyone is doing their own thing so no one is very concerned with what you are doing. As long as you do your job and what is expected of you, you will not be bothered. The people make it a great work environment where you can easily work at your own pace with little or no pressure from others.

Cons

Work can get a bit monotonous, tasks are very routine. There is not much variety in the daily office grind. It can get tedious doing the same thing day in and day out. Due to budget cuts, many employees did not get raises this year, although that is pretty common with the economy being the way it is right now.

Advice to Senior Management

More room for growth would be nice, more money is always nice as well. Definitely need more room for advancement within the company, as the annual raises do not amount to much.

Pros

Great benefits and flexible work schedule, has best products and services in the industry.

Cons

Upper management has been crooked and backstabbing in the past. There have been numerous incidents of un-ethical behavior between VP of Sales and branch mangers which have effected commissions of sales representatives and thier managers. In addition it effected administration and installers creating a world of problems.

Advice to Senior Management

Realize that there are serious ethics concerns and race issues in the DC area and has been evident through the actions of former senior management.
