    Pros

There are plenty of large projects to get great experience on.

    Cons

It is very much a large corporate so be prepared for lots of forms and procedures that slow you down.

    Pros

Good benefits, lots of good co-workers, talented and motivated

    Cons

Depending on what office/department you are, you may get pigeonholded into routine, boring tasks. This is an enormous, anonymous corporate conglomerate where the individual counts less and less with every merger and every acquisition

    Advice to Management

what is the point of 100,000 engineers?

I have been working at AECOM

    Pros

Most of the people not at an Executive lever still care about the employees.

    Cons

Company as a whole could care less about it's employees.

    Advice to Management

It's too late they don't care...

    Pros

Flexible hours, good benefits, availability of technology seems extensive.

    Cons

Numerous technological problems, it seems as though all the available funds run out every year for non managerial level staff that would support and maintain professional credentials. Every project is suddenly massively over budget before design development level issuances have begun. Communication on projects always seems to be problematic.

    Advice to Management

Have a better understanding of the costs involved in project budgets when getting projects on the books. Being the lowest bidder can affect quality and reputation and continued client retention.

    Pros

Great people and some interesting project opportunities. Opportunities for flexible schedules and work from home. Good benefits and positive work environment.

    Cons

Focus on huge O&G clients at the expense of smaller, interesting work for smaller clients. Favoritism in pay. Obsession with profit margin at the expense of quality work. H&S just lip service.

    Advice to Management

Don't play favorites - pay attention to quality of work when determining bonus/raises. Let practice groups pursue interesting projects even if the projects are smaller.
