Houston, TX

Former Employee – worked at AIA Engineers full-time for more than a year

ProsVery professional, respectful atmosphere. Great team of coworkers, led by an excellent boss/owner who truly cares about his employees. "No glass ceiling" attitude amongst upper-management. This is an incredible firm -- you're proud to be a part of this team.

ConsHours often extend beyond the 8-5 when projects are in full-swing. Goes with the territory in this field, but not always conducive for employees who have families, etc.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot a thing -- keep doing what you're doing -- it's working very well.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Calabasas, CA

Current Employee – been working at AIA Engineers

ProsThey pay OK, and the people are decent in a nice Stepford sort of way. Decent growth opportunities for the conformity minded.

ConsDrudgery in spades, and this is not an exaggeration. And Houston is a complete armpit. I mean Texas is an armpit, but Houston is AWFUL!
