    Pros

Great Benefits! Really good medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k and retirement plan.

    Cons

Salary is not competitive - they don't give raise just bonus which after taxes amount to nothing.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, you're not the ones getting the job done. Stop dismissing employees suggestions.

    Pros

As my first job out of college, this is a fantastic company. They treat you well, train you well, and pay you well. The benefits are outstanding. Charlotte is a great, open, and young atmosphere.

    Cons

There is little flexibility for work schedule and opportunity to work from home at all this this job. Differs company wide.

    Advice to Management

Allow work on day from home and I am sold.

    Pros

Name Recognition looks good on your resume, Hope that opportunity will surface, Building and leverage relationship

    Cons

Unorganized, lack of respect for individuals, VP who could careless about his people needs or concerns. Lack of respect for their people. Attitude if you don't like it leave.

    Advice to Management

Lose the dinosaurs, develop mgmt style and leadership that will facilitate win - win environment. one that promote company growth and personal growth. Pay your workers and not just the executives. No pay raise for worker in over 3 years. Invest in a real CIO never ever experience the network issues that I experienced while employed at AIG. Totally unacceptable from a Fortune 50 Co. Systems (OneClaim) and bandwidth issues, helpdesk providing no HELP.

    Pros

    Strong presence in the marketplace
    Competitive products and services
Company has a good reputation especially after the $8B government bailout.

    Cons

    Limited training opportunities
Throws you into pit with limited experience
Poor salaries with small bonuses if a bonus is even given
    Limited chances of promotions
Cheap when it comes to expenses - have never sent me on any business travel

    Advice to Management

Proactive in employees training and development. Revamp their compensation and benefits packages. I did not see a merit increase the 5 years I was employed there.

    Pros

    They talk a good game.

    Cons

Unable to fulfill plans due to a lack of real strategic vision.

    Advice to Management

Too top heavy in senior management that does not allow sufficient availability of workers to execute tasks. One more executive or VP is not going to fix the legacy systems or attitudes.
