    Pros

Great people, great environment. It was great working for a smaller, privately held company, versus a giant corporation.

    Cons

The owners cashed out and made a ton of $$, while everyone else lost their job.

    Advice to Management

    too late....back in '08-'09 I would've said, "don't ruin a good thing."

I have been working at AIM Healthcare Services Inc full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits were reasonable, but not great. Very successful in their domain. Lots of opportunities if located at home office.

    Cons

Salaries were not great. Did not assist with relocation even when promoted and moving to home office.

    Pros

    * Make your own schedule * Autonomy * Okay pay

    Cons

    * No career potential * Very little skills needed

    Advice to Management

Don't sugarcoat the reality of this position. Hire people who don't mind having a menial job where they get to make their own hours.

I worked at AIM Healthcare Services Inc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

*Outstanding paid training program in Nashville. Staff in Nashville was wonderful, overall. *Pretty good salary and benefits for what you do. *Seems like some opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

*HORRIBLE and incompetent senior management at the regional level, especially the ARDs. One guy quoted Donald Trump when he fired a temp. Seemed to care more about making a statement than really doing his job. *Whatever you learned at your training program in Nashville was thrown out the window at your hospital. *Tremendous pressure to find claims even if they don’t exist. At the end of the day, it’s sort of a sales job. *Hours varied depending on your ARD or RAM. Mine were pretty standard, but some locations were totally wack because of the ARD’s discretion.

    Advice to Management

HR was located in Nashville, so they’re really detached from the situation. Whatever concerns I had fell on deaf ears. I heard things changed for the worse after UHC bought AIM out, if that’s possible. Also think ARDs have too much say in things and it should be more centralized.
