    Pros

    Diverse culture, good commission scheme.

    Cons

Takes years to get promotion even if one's performance is excellent. Which makes it quite hard to climb on the "career ladder".

    Advice to Management

Would be great to implement back providing accommodation for staff as it is getting really hard to find a property for reasonable price taking the EXPO 2020 thing into consideration.

    Pros

It's an organization that values people ... respects diversity ... invests in nurturing ... open to feedback and change

    Cons

Going through a maturity curve, evolving from a family conglomerate to an institution ... the level of transparency could frustrate new comers sometimes ... speed of decision making could improve

    Advice to Management

    Let go ... everything can't be a process ...

    Pros

Family believes in valuing people and did not declare redundancies even during the meltdown of 2009. Second generation is coming in to take charge; glad to see them as absolute professionals with brilliant pedigree. Ambitious plans and should mean more opportunities coming up in the next few years.

    Cons

Decision making is painfully slow and opaque; far from agile as an organization; also suffers from severe incompetency amongst workforce, many of whom are just clocking away their time. Needs to show signs of a progressive organization. Arrogance in larger business units leading to very silo'd mentality and behaviour.

    Advice to Management

Accountability needs a steriod dose, even if it means shaking up some feathers. Carrot-and-stick is important for achieving the change needed.

    Advice to Management

Focus should be more on work quality rather than time attendance and some people should just be trained to behave professionally in office.

    Pros

    you will pay your bills.

    Cons

The Hr system is the worst in planet earth.Focus is on commercial meetings and a head office parade.Your best month will be induction period and after that if u want to grow, you have to go!!!Tip for survival, put a showface to survive the hierachy in place.employees come last especially in Retail..

    Advice to Management

Be generic and open minded.Every one deserves a chance to grow if they take initiative.Stop blocking employee growth within the company
