Historically AMB has placed great emphasis on people and creating an excellent team oriented work environment. There has also been a good balance between workload and personal time.

AMB used to have more of a focus on people as an important aspect of AMB's synergy and success but trending toward cost control and business growth with people as the secondary consideration.

- The people AMB hires are great people - fun, smart, and hard working.

- There is opportunity grow intellectually and professionaly, but can be very political.

- AMB is very respected in the marketplace so having AMB on your resume helps.

- The company is very political. Promotions, raises, etc. are often based on internal connections and not necessarily merit.

- The pay at all levels, except for maybe senior management, is below market.

-Raises, promotions, assignments, etc. should be based more on an objective, quantifiable rating scale rather than because someone happens to work or is liked by senior managements.

Continue what you are doing. Cost cutting can only hurt you. You will thrive because of your culture.
