    Pros

Extremely flexible schedule except you must work most holidays, free movies, nice management, variety of work positions.

    Cons

Working on holidays, working on nights and weekends, no raise after three years working, hearing guests complain about prices all day.

    Advice to Management

Give some of your employees a raise. If you do evaluations every six months and an employee passes, at least give them a raise once a year.

    Pros

    Great place to work.
    Flexible hours.
    FREE UNLIMITED MOVIES AND POPCORN/DRINKS
Usher - minimal supervision, work in groups usually
Box Office - No running around, don't have to deal with emergencies often
Concession - Time flies when you're busy
Booth (if not digital theater) - No supervision, lots of down time
Plenty of opportunities for advancement, given you're a good worker

    Cons

    Pay is not great.
Weekends are pretty stressful, due to the increase in customers.
Usher - theaters can be left in a disgusting state, kids
Box Office - Repititve, can't move away from register except for breaks
Concession - Stressful, customers complaining about price, greasy floors
Booth - If things go wrong, it's a BIG DEAL

    Advice to Management

Nothing really, it runs pretty smoothly when things aren't breaking.
If you pay the workers more, you'd have a better selection of potential employees and not just teenagers who are just there for the check.

    Pros

Benefits are great. On occasion we can see movies for free and so can our families and friends. All depends on the circumstances though. Get to change positions frequently, so you don't get too bored working the same spot forever. Hours are somewhat flexible. Great for a high school student looking for a first job.

    Cons

AMC does not care about its employees or customer services. It only cares about the sales of stupid promotions and its reward card system. An employee can get away with being the worst worker ever as long as they sell a few rewards cards a week. One the opposite side, if an employee works hard and is great with customers, they can get in trouble for not selling any rewards cards. AMC has its priorities mixed up. Also AMC only pays minimum wage with very few exceptions. They do not promote in house either, so climbing up the ladder is difficult.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on guest connections instead of sales. Acknowledge hard workers and punish those who don't work hard at all.
