    Pros

I was a contractor so I got paid better then salary employees for the crappy experience. I learned a lot, but it was mainly self taught, so I guess I can't give them credit for that.

    Cons

The company is unethical at best. The former CEO managed the place like terribly which led to tons of extra and unnecessary work. He pushed the sales team to overload on contracts, so much so, that no one could complete them. Then he used all the contracts as ammunition to sell the company to an investment firm. Before the new investors could understand what a mess they were getting, they actually gave bonuses to the previous officers. The bonuses were increased by laying off 15 workers the night before Thanksgiving. After the new investors saw how horrible everything was, and after only being in charge for 6 months, they stopped products and let go of 70% of the work force. They claimed this was due to reduced revenue from a big contract. However, they had many more contracts bringing in millions. For such a small company you have to wonder where the money went. It would not surprise me if arrests were made at some point. Google this company and Oklahoma or Bexar. You will find impending lawsuits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to do a good job. You guys are terrible.

    A poorly managed mess

    Pros

There are numerous opportunities for promotion and growth, however, AMCAD doesn't provide much training to help you take advantage of these opportunities, so any professional development that would qualify you for promotions is largely self-directed.

    Cons

The company recently laid off over 70% of its employees as it abruptly exited the market for justice solution software. Employees were notified via email on a Monday morning that their current day would be their last; no employees received severance pay. I can't fault the current senior management for what happened, but as a previous reviewer mentioned, the former CEO, Visagar Shyamsundar, was an unethical businessman who recklessly signed contracts without any thought of how the company would be able to complete the work it was contracted to perform. I do not recommend working with him or for him in any capacity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest with your employees. It might be better at this point to disband the company since employee morale is so low for those employees that remain at the company.

    Pros

    None None None None None

    Cons

Was hired 2 weeks ago to be a casualty of a across the board downsizing which I believe is leading to the company being taken over and disbanded!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the employees in the loop. This type of "backroom" antics is what causes a lack in loyalty.

    Pros

I don't have any pros about work in this company. Yes one thing you will get to learn new technologies and nothing more than that.

    Cons

Workload is too much as deadlines are on top of your head always due to which less productivity. Expect to work all 365 days if possible. Employee should forget about their personal life and keep on work. Working on weekends is as common as working on weekdays. Worst work culture is developed and it needs to be changed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a good work culture and then even the productivity will be good. Maintain balance between work and life.

    Pros

    Friendly, casual environment, self directed

    Cons

    Very high turnover rate
    Poor training

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Company is too small to handle the work it has been contracted to do. Fix your internal structure so that the turnover will stop and your product quality can be improved.

    Pros

    Good salary (at certain levels)

    Cons

Ad Hoc management direction, zero downtime, clients allowed to cross professional lines (i.e. unprofessional speech and demeaning/abusive tactics). Employees morale for on-site client work is poor at best.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Professionalize, think before you promise, think beyond the moment.
