Still a small company in an industry with a lot of giants.

    Pros

Unlimited budget and no problems with spending money.
Employee's hardware is up to date & new with latest specs
Offices are bright, clean and comfortable, decent size space.

    Cons

Many employees are new with no knowledge of company goals or objectives. All new hires are young without business, management or leadership experience.

The HR on-boarding experience was a mess, no set processes or system training provided. HR seems fake and not trustworthy.

Nobody works from home, working remote is not an option unless bad weather in winter. Minimal flexibility with hours & they always want you in the office.

Slow to adapt to new ways to work smarter or efficiently, for example leaving voicemails instead of using IM. Culture is mixed because there are old policies and closed minded ways like no work from home, however they are hiring a new "younger" group of people to grow with the company. It will be interesting to see how they evolve.

    Advice to Management

Don't play favorites, give everyone a fair chance.

    Pros

The pay is great and the benefits are really really great. Best health insurance available.

    Cons

Bad time to be in financial services, sales and marketing departments are at odds. The company was formed in 2005 from four smaller investment management firms and it is still struggling to integrate.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire your friends and give them outrageous salaries.
