I have been working at ARAMARK full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

In B&I and have most weekends off and evenings too.. Hours can be long, usually from early morning to late afternoon. Good company benefits and a nice 410K plan

    Cons

If you loose you account for reasons that you can't control you could be out of a job. You can cover over accounts if your colleagues go on vacation, but this usually involves you being willing to travel far and work lounger hours, while learning how they do things at their account.

I worked at ARAMARK full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary ok benefits excellent. Coworkers good.

    Cons

The constant micromanaging of day to day operations and the constant threatening of your position if the flavor of the day was not executed within the very unprofessional district and unit managers vision.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the culture of the company from the top. Stop ruling with fear. The constant feeling that you will lose your job with every audit or inspection hinders your management from actually performing. The bottom line is the client suffers.

I worked at ARAMARK full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Aramark has a comprehensive training and room to move up and around the country. Also the many divisions and departments allow you to gain a diverse skill set.

    Cons

The only cons that I can think of are the red tape involved when new equipment is needed but the roadblocks were mainly in middle management. Overall it was a good place to work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep your employees engaged in what your department/divisions goals are.

    Pros

Not full or even part time hours, so if you need extra money here and there it isn't a bad deal.

    Cons

No training or even introduction at any of the job sites, laziest coworkers EVER, and crap pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A least give the name of the person in charge of our location so we can ask for help.
