Pros
they are very good about promoting people who work hard and dont mind giving that little extra to make the client happy.
Cons
not the best when it comes to support for thier managers. they dont seem to have time to return phone call or e-mails unless they are from the client personally. some times thats not enough to get what support you need from higher management.
Pros
Great Pay/Flexiable/Benefits Excellent/Work Environment Fun
Cons
Enhance Uniform to more conservative Stain resistant clothing
Pros
Fun positive environment and ok workload
Cons
All about profit, does not invest enough in employee development
Pros
plenty of time off allowed with PTO allowance. Flexible.
Cons
Not enough hours allotted for job to be done. Overworked, underpaid.
Advice to Senior Management
Provide adequate compensation and allow appropriate time for jobs to be done in order to reduce stress and promote work-place happiness.
Pros
Working for Aramark definitely gives you job security and a relax environment. It also gives you an experienced manager that will train you well.
Cons
Aramark can definitely improve in emplpyee benefits
and since it is a lean organization meaning advancement needs extra effort, but it id doable
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to take care of people because we feel safe working for the company, if advancements and benefits can improve...then it will e a big plus
Pros
hours of operation
direct relationship with client
good job if wanting to learn foodservice on corrections side
Cons
very tight employee coverage
numbers driven company
hourly managers not given same benefits as salaried managers but held to same standard
Advice to Senior Management
Look at your benefit package for hourly managers. We are held to the same standard as salaried managers but do not get the same "perks". Appreciate your employees better, without them you would not have a business. And do you match 401k contributions?
Pros
Friendly atmosphere and professional company. I would reccommend friends to work there. I was able to learn a lot there.
Cons
I didn't like that I had to sign in with a punch in card because the location was not near my office. About a five minute walk to punch in.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay more attention to the talent that works at the lower levels.
Pros
Esay job even though sometimes is tired.
Cons
low pay rate and never get more even though you work for Aramerk around a couple years.
Advice to Senior Management
It's so terrible that the pay rate doen't change at all after 3 years. Hope the owner can benefits the employees more.
Pros
There is flexibility in location and divisions of the company. There is a large network to exchange information and ideas which is helpful. They have an expert for everything or they have consulted with an expert and the information is typically available.
Cons
It's a large company easy to feel like a number depending on the position. The compensation could be better - staff hired directly by a client makes more that ARAMARK is willing to pay, most of the time. Some big wigs may have forgotten what it is like to work in the field and the expectation when they add additional tasks is unreasonable because time precious.
Advice to Senior Management
Show your employees that they are a great supporting cast. Show the employees that corporate listens to what they have to say and wants to work to make resolutions. Pay your employees competitively even if it affects the profit because the employees performance.
Pros
Steady hours
Formal business environment
Great people to work with
High turnover
Cons
Lack of creativity
Senior Management may be jaded
Impossible financial goals to reach
Very corporate
