    I worked at ARAMARK part-time

    Pros

There was great teamwork. It seemed that the managers really cared about their employees. Opportunities to move up or branch off in the company. Was able to get the days off that we're asked for. Good work/ life balance.

    Cons

With Aramark at schools, they had girls work the night shift till midnight and would recommended to have a male always work for safety reasons.

I have been working at ARAMARK full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Work the schedule you want to work. Supervisors are usually there for you when you need them to be and the managers will Listen to anything you have to say, whether you just need to say something to feel better or if an issue needs addressing. Drug tests are not required without suspicion.

    Cons

Employees are mostly college students or picked up off the street (with exceptions). Wages are low with small yearly raises. While managers will listen, very rarely does anything that gets addressed actually gets done. Don't expect recognition or appreciation; it's nonexistent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If someone calls out every day for a month, they probably don't need to be scheduled.

I worked at ARAMARK full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Good people who worked there.

    Cons

Required to go up and beyond the scope of profession, example 12 hrs per day and running the stewarding as well as being responsible for the food aspect,. should have two different managers, for these kinds of responsibilities.
came to end of quarter was laid off. Feels like just a plug in for a quarterly term, with little chance to advance or even become competent in job at hand. loading of responsibilities without proper training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep close watch on persons in the director roles. How they treat workers to get end results.
