Great people to work with. Work environment is positive. Good benefits, weekends and holidays off and competitive pay. Great motivation for employees to work hard for incentives and bonuses. Great experience to learn with opportunity to move forward within the company

    Cons

Lack of technological advancements, older employees seem to be set in their ways with no openness to change. Management communication can improve to set expectations for employees to understand how to better perform the job and fulfill responsibilities.

I have been working at ARAMARK full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Beautiful views and during the summer plenty of hours and fairly flexible schedule. Most of the employees interact as if we are all one great big family and stay in contact beond just working together

    Cons

My biggest problem is dealin with the altitude it can be bothersme and a. It difficult to acclimate to. As with all companies they have their ups and downs but I wish the management took the role of their EMTs more seriously instead of just employees that cost the company money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If it was your mom, dad, son, daughter and they were in need of medical attention how would you want them to be treated? EMTs could play such a vital role in bringing new customers and receiving revisits from people who are a bit unsure about their safety and the summit of a 14er

I worked at ARAMARK full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Salary, benefits, career opportunities, and location.

    Cons

You are micromanaged and severely hindered in your ability to make a real difference. Your career trajectory is chosen by higher ups, and you have little to no say on your next career move. If you chose to go in a certain direction in your career, where it doesn't benefit the management team for which you work, then you aren't truly supported and treated like an outsider. Aramark is a territorial company. You would do well to seek employment elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop "talking" about being a company that takes care of its people, and show it by your actions!

    No leadership.
    Poor communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do your job. Interact. Support. You are collecting a paycheck just like everyone else. You are not better than anyone else.

    Chef / Manager

I have been working at ARAMARK full-time

    Pros

The down down time when students are on break and summer hours are short. If you like filling out logs and labels then this is the company for you. Why focus on food and customers when you have paper work that must be done and if you like working with outdated technology and operating systems then work here.

    Cons

Overworked underpaid if a mangers is not hired with in a month they will NEVER be replaced and you will be the one picking up the slack and if your 2 managers short your picking that slack up as well. So now you have 3 jobs to do and upper management could care less only about bottom line. The CEO is gonna bury this company with the focus purely on bottom line and with zero focus on food and customer service. They don't care about customers or employees ARAMARK motto " write them up and get them out " all you here is cut cut cut and jesus how can any work ever get done with all LOGS and reports that no one ever reads. At one time it was a great place to company to work for but Eric Foss this not Pepsi so listen to people that actually make you money and focus on customer service and good food. Hiring younger cheaper managers ( puppets) with no voice is not the answer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get out while you can because you will be replaced by cheaper younger Management as well. Don't think it's not coming.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

    Nice logo. Excellent PR job.

    Cons

Work 60+ hours a week salary and still not enough to satisfy commitments. Pay is poor and benefits worse.
Job is very high pressure. Your nuts or soon will be if you work for ARAMARK.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wouldn't it be cheaper to pay your employees a decent wage instead of constantly training new ones???
