    Pros

I get to listen to every concert for FREE. Minimum wage plus tips instead of the measly $2.13 at restaurants, turns out to be good $$$$$ for the amount of work put in. Work/Life balance is great. Opportunity to work Texans games at Reliant stadium.

    Cons

The job is seasonal (May-Septemeber). Work schedule is not steady. Sometimes you can go 2-3 weeks without working and then have 4 concerts in a row from Thursday to Sunday. The job is outdoors, so in June-August you are working in extreme heat.

    Advice to Management

There is no opportunity for promotion. After working there for 6 years, its time to move on

    Pros

Depending on your role, you'll be given a good deal of responsibility and management experience regardless of how much you may have had previously.

    Cons

    Seemed to be high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Make an effort to communicate with all staff levels. A good culture is a priceless asset.

  3. Aramark lacks in employment retention

    Pros

I enjoyed working during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
You meet people from all across the globe.

Sometimes on game days your provided with free lunch or breakfast.

You often have the opportunity to work other events( MotorCross, Offshore technology conference, etc.), or work at other locations(Minute Maid Park, George R. Brown Convention Center).

Annual Holiday Party; normally on the club level of the stadium. Alot of fun!

    Cons

seasonal employment in my department, unless your in management.

  6. insightful and good experience for culinary students
