Advice to Senior Management
Identify & promote real talent
Pros
A large pool of professionals, specialists and experts around the world. The company is diversified, offering large potential for growth, international turnaround, strong ethic and values..
Cons
I believe the company is too heavy on guidelines, procedures and reporting when not dealing specifically with nuclear field or activities.
Advice to Senior Management
It would be desirable to delegate and empower to more individuals at regional levels. This would increase efficiency and motivation of the people at local, national and regional levels.
Pros
Work environment is very friendly, management is very libaral, professional life & personal life can be handle simultaneously easily,
Cons
poor appraisal system & salary structure, unfair promoting increment bonus, senior junior relation is not good, un clear career growth
Advice to Senior Management
pls b fair in appraisal promting increment bonus. clear career growth, fair salary structure
Pros
good company. Treats employees with respect. You can learn a lot of technical stuff here but its not very innovative. Enjoy technical stuff.
Cons
Salary is less, Too much travelling and site work required. Also compensation is very less whn compaered to IT. It takes 10yrs to become a manager.
Advice to Senior Management
Take more care of the personal lives of employees especially those who work in sites. Also i hope that pay will be better than now.
Pros
You can take long lunches to work out at the gym, driving a child home from school during work time, chatting at the water cooler, taking care of personal business such as taxes or bills.
Cons
Management turns blind eye on couple bullies. Tip: keep away from them. Slowly sinking ship doesn't invest in new technologies.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more technical. Seriously look at quality of new products. Let the people be creative. Plan for long term, not just for next bonus time....
Pros
Salary structure is good and satisfied.
Cons
No carrer growth opportunities and no professional trainings. No onsite opportunities
Advice to Senior Management
Be transparent and proactive in communicating important information to employees
Pros
benefits, very close culture, okay management
Cons
too slow, not much to learn
Advice to Senior Management
be professional
Pros
- Peers team work
- Share of knowledge
- Respect by colleagues
Cons
- Things seems to be changing, but management bullying seemed to be part of every finance manager job description
- Not a place to build your life in financial terms - pre retirement work seems the mindset
- Sensation that the company is almost alwyays losing the best contracts and research breakthroughs to the competition
Advice to Senior Management
If we are in the game to follow others, do not push employees as if they do not know the world outside the company.
Pros
Good for Gaining some professional experience, as many of the managers are very technically minded people.
Cons
They can overwork there staff a bit sometimes by stretching it a bit thin on projects.
Advice to Senior Management
Quite a few of the managers are great mentors because they are technically good, but are terrible at managing people.
