    ARGI: A lot of promise and potential, but mixed results

    ProsLocation, everyone knows each other - small company, somewhat family oriented, new product generated opportunities, if you do as told can go far.

    ConsLow employee recognition (employee of the quarter award is a joke), you are expected to work even during your vacation, upper management decisions directly affecting your day-to-day work are made without employee feedback.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThe bottom line of the business being profitable is important, but do not ignore the fact that without employees, there is no company.

    One long nightmare of incompetence and backstabbing.

    ProsThe location of the office was nice.
    There were good places to eat nearby.
    Some of the employees were intelligent and hard working.

    ConsEgotistical management with no business sense.
    Ridiculous deadlines.
    No vision or planning.
    Managers out to serve themselves on the backs of their staff.
    Backstabbing at the highest levels.
    So much time wasted on mind games instead of producing a quality product.
    A complete lack of business sense from the leadership

    Advice to Senior ManagementPick up some current business management literature and understand how modern corporations are run.
    Try to develop loyalty to your employees, who will then exhibit loyalty to the organization.
    Get rid of deadwood immediately especially when clients complain about it and start to quit.
    Don't bury your head in the sand and think that customers will ignore the fact that you can't deliver anything on time.
