    Cons

It's a very fast paced environment.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

The hourly starting pay $12.07 for retail was higher than average retail job in vegas.

    Cons

Retail managers look down on you and lie! Too much MLife talking required. Free food is horrible.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees when they speak. Hire within as advertised. Higher pay raises than the 2% yearly cost of living raise. REALLY! 23 cents! Get better food, clean the fresh fruit before you put it out and take the sticker off too. Dont you know pesticides cause cancer. Get rid of MLife, no one cares about MLife. Even when its explained some still dont understand, they just want to purchase their overpriced $3 lighter, not hear a long drawn out speel. Horrible name for rewards card. Most people think im selling insurance Metlife!

  6. Great company but not good pay unless you're executive or tipped employee

    Pros

The people are so friendly and you get opportunities to interact with so many different departments.

    Cons

The pay was ok, but you're locked into a pay range. Which is typical of many corporations.

  7. Hourly workers need 2 jobs. Many years part time till full time.

    Pros

For the tipped employee positions, the tokes are good. The managers are fair and reasonable. Food in the employee dining room can be fantastic, to garbage, depending on shift.

    Cons

Corporate policy, penny pinching for profits, accountants should never be in the casino business unless they have worked the floors of the casino's for at least 1 year. Over hiring, then putting people on 4 day schedules and forcing out before shift ends to not allow benefits. Pre shift meetings are about new policies that will get you written up. Paid holidays have been taken away, fewer paid days off then in previous years and forget spending a holiday with family. Holidays are regular time, *except union employees* pay no longer overtime, and DON'T call in sick on a Holiday!

    Advice to Management

Why should anyone need 2 jobs to survive in a tipped service industry job? Scheduling 4-5 days and NOT allowing benefits hours to be reached, means employees are also making less actual money. When they have a bad attitude because they are tired or struggling to survive and pay rent, will they really be able to provide the high end customer service this industry needs to keep the best customers?

REDUCING BENEFITS? REALLY? SOWA BONA MF'er

Company has zero shot at making Forbes top 100 places to work. Time to re-think that strategy.

  8. Great growth opportunity.

    Pros

Paid lunch breaks along with free food. Consistent expectations. Good salary and overall a healthy atmosphere. Supervisors are knowledgeable. Not much respect if you are in a union.

    Cons

Not many benefits for the restaurants. Or at all. Discount for hotel offered to employees can be beat by most travel sites.

    Advice to Management

    Empower your line employees.
