I have been working at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This was my first job out of graduate school. It was awesome to work with some great talent. The collaborations with universities for gene therapy applications were an interesting way of extending research outside of the laboratory. Parking and gym were included.

    Cons

I wish I still lived in the Cambridge area. I would still work there today. I cannot recommend Ariad enough. Maybe I wish there were more projects to work on???

I worked at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours. Flexible workspace. I felt like I was given everything I needed to succeed. I was in QA, and felt like I was on an awesome team.

    Cons

I really never felt like I got a chance to meet other parts of the organization. I would have liked to have known more about what was going on outside of my department.

    Advice to Management

Some more crossover between departments would be nice. Getting stuck in your silo can be boring.
