I worked at ARS full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay if you know how to sell Hvac equipment. you get a company truck with a gas card. Not much cold calling.

    Cons

The management is not the best. You are.pretty much your trainer. The company is very micro managed and no matter what your numbers are, it's not good enough

    Advice to Management

Learn the product that you want your comfort specialist to sell.

I have been working at ARS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company Truck, gas card, some good employees

    Cons

Management is terrible its like working for a bunch of high school kids. There are favorites with in the company if your not part of the click you get no work! Stupid same day late jobs and they expect you to work till 12am all while messing with your pay. Does not know how to distribute work properly only if you are in the "Click" will you make good money and always have work. Also seniority doesn't usually matter there is no loyalty in this company has snakes that will throw you under the bus. They don't pay you hourly don't pay you for drive time don't pay you for meetings that are usually about nothing just wasting your time about how things are going to change and they never do. They will tell you to work 7days a week and to put your FAMILY on the line for the job but they don't pay well anyways so it makes no sense.

    Advice to Management

Learn to higher managers that actually know what they are doing, Listen to employees advice to help the company run smoother...Stop spending money on weather proof cellphones when you dont even leave the office to do anything productive.

    Cons

less salary than software engineers, people move quickly from test positions to other positions.

    Advice to Management

no any advice tomanagemet. I am not enough time in the company to provide good advice. we need more time tohave a better opinion of the company.

I have been working at ARS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people I worked with mostly the employees were really great.

    Cons

Always pushing the techs to sell and if they didn't there were not allowed to go to repair calls. The would be strictly put on tune ups for 7 years and newer and if there were no more calls they went home and the selling techs were allowed to work. If for some reason the age of the unit was wrong and it was older than specified a salesman was sent if the tech wasn't a seller and the customers were ganged up upon.

    Advice to Management

Get smart before you lose all the good techs.
