    Pros

Autonomy. Full time employees pay $0 towards medical insurance

    Cons

Pay is based on a 40 hour work week and since you are not paid for a 1-hour lunch break that you MUST take, you have to work 9 hours a day (9am-6pm) to receive your full salary. If you work any less than 40 hours/week, your pay will be docked. Only offer 2 weeks of vacation, 5 personal days, and 5 sick days to full time employees. They only pay for 5 federal holidays.

    Advice to Management

Offer more benefits and time-off to full time employees and salary should be based on a 35 hour or 37.5 hour work week like most other employers.

    Pros

Flexible schedule and a lot of discretion.

    Cons

Some professors give away grades and are too easy on the students. This is possibly encouraged by the administration who is more concerned with retention than student success. As a result the students think all professors give the answers to the exams etc. Technology is mediocre despite the money they charge as a for-profit school.

    Pros

I can not think of any...

    Cons

The worse place to work for. There business practice is unethical. They treat the faculty with no respect such as over loading them with classes (10 -12 per semester). You are scheduled to teach 5-6 classes per day. The schedule you to teach at both campuses (Brooklyn and Manhattan) in one day, which takes a toll on a person. They change their policies on a whim to benefit management. The company's culture promotes fear and anxiety, in which they fire someone every semester to set as an example.

    Advice to Management

This is America, Land of the FREE!!! Stop running the school like a plantation.
