    Pros

The people are fantastic, and the workplace is relatively flexible. If you have hobbies, school, or anything else that you need to get done, or would like to get done, you have the freedom to do so during work hours.

    Cons

There are many challenges to working in a contractor situation and not all of the leaders in this organization are prepared to deal with these types of things. They often roll over instead of protecting their employees, or at least that is how it appears. Even within the organization, there is some turning a blind-eye and not standing up to the subcontractors who work on the same contract and are quite obviously the ones making the calls.

    Advice to Management

Be more aware of what is going on with your employees, and stop trying to baby everyone. Those that aren't doing the work should not be treated as if they are equal to those that are busting their butts. Also, take back over the reigns of your contract before you lose it to your subcontractor.

    Pros

    Decent Salary
As long as the customer is happy management stays out of your way

    Cons

    No training
No support, you are completely on your own. You can call management but really they have no idea what you are doing
No path to advancement or change. You have to do this completely on your own

    Advice to Management

Provide alternative projects to work on. I mean there is nothing that will such your soul more than feeling like you aren't going anywhere.

    Pros

There's really nothing to say here, management is changing finally so maybe things will end up for the better?

    Cons

Don't try to do your job without having management play politics with every single decision often resulting in missing deadlines both internally and externally.

    Advice to Management

    Go Away.

    Pros

    Federal clients keep consultants busy

    Cons

sr. level project managers are uninterested in employee happiness and well being but rather contract renewal by the federal client. Manager had poor leadership ability and ignorant towards improving work flow strategies; satisfaction with status quo kept department from excelling.

    Advice to Management

improve benefits package in order to hire more competent project managers. fire those who satisfied with mediocrity and lack basic business leadership skills.

    Pros

Always have one or more 8(a) companies in the ASRC federal family.

    Cons

Non-billable employees working in the headquarter are just like governmemt people.

    Advice to Management

Profice more support on the remote sites. For the service departments in the headquarter need to define service level agreement. Their response speed is too slow.
