I have been working at ASTA CRS as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Pay is always on time. Never had any issues about this.
    Marketing department is aggressive
    Training is satisfactory
The whole ASTA CRS Team is approachable and if there are any issues/concerns - they have responded well.

    Cons

    Health Insurance is expensive
Base rate for freshers is not too appealing
Have to negotiate a lot for an increase

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Probably offer some free 'specific' courses/ tutorials/online training for various applications (for freshers as well as people who have been with the company for a while)

A racket and a fraudulent business which will be out of existence soon

I worked at ASTA CRS full-time for less than a year

    Pros

None. Please see below for details.

    Cons

Asta CRS/IG Logg, Inc. lures trainees, promising them of proper training and employment. Once you get there: their fraudulent operations are revealed. They basically train their lures to pretend to be Senior Business Analysts (with 6 to 8 years of experience) and deceive clients during interviews. Once the new "business analysts" are placed in projects, they will be paid $25/hour, when in reality Asta CRS/IQ Logg, Inc. charges the clients over $50/hour for the consultant work. This racket basically takes over 50% of the earnings. This is how they make money.

This also what the whole training is about: they teach you how to deceive, tell stories of fake accomplishments, "upgrade" your resume with fabricated employment history (apparently, I worked for Goldman Sachs for 2 years.). The clients don't bother to check the background of the consultants they contract with. So this give Asta CRS/IQLogg, Inc. all the leeway to lie about the qualifications of their "business analysts."

During the whole process, the trainees are housed in poorly furnished, guest houses, in abysmal conditions. Shocked by all this, I basically left one random morning, at 4 AM, to drive back for over 300 miles. The only reason I decided to go to Northern Virginia in the first place was because Asta CRS/IQ Logg, Inc.'s job advertisement was placed on North Carolina State University's official, user-authenticated, job board.

My next steps are going to be to send official letters to North Carolina State University and all the clients of Asta CRS/IQ Logg, Inc., which include Wells Fargo, Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae, etc. If you are a reader who has a similar store to tell, please share it here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pack up your bags. Your clients will soon know about this and sue you out of existence.

I worked at ASTA CRS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great Marketing team. I barely spent any time in between the projects as they are very efficient in getting interviews and getting candidates placed

    Cons

Pay is too low. Relocation charges are a joke. Also the accounts and immigration dept need to be more efficient.

I have been working at ASTA CRS full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great benefits; wonderful colleagues (if you get in the right business unit/group), lots of room for growth - lots of long term employees

    Cons

Senior management is "scattered" - often going in different directions. Doesn't stand behind it's Ethics Policy - will let clients say anything and do anything they want to you and you have to take it. Will do anything to "win the business" then walk way to leave the employees to clean up the mess.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Go back to your roots / core business. Understand trying to be the best in the industry but you are taking on too much at one time. Also, remember that it's your tenured employees who want to be loyal and you are not loyal. Trying to attract and retain the best talent - don't know what you are doing.

    - Placement level : good
    - Accommodation : Decent
    - Quick Placement (At least for me)

    Cons

-Like someone wrote previously, "Very poor pay rate". you will get tired of begging them to raise. Been working there for 2 and half years still hasn't been fully satisfied by the pay.
    -UN-Affordable health Insurance
-The Company is too greedy in terms of getting money from you. MUST Speak up to get good rate from them. if u stay quiet, Gaand marte hain :)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would Advice Management to take their employees seriously as there are hundreds of other agencies out there as their competition. Also Keep their "So Called" contract in pocket and not threaten them with it because the folks now are more smart than you think and know their rights.

I have been working at ASTA CRS

    Pros

    1) People are Professional
    2) Pays salary on time. Never ever delayed my salary. Fixed date or prior not delay.
    3) Prompt on issue on salary. They made a wrong deduction in my paycheck but within hour the mistake was rectified and balance was deposited immediately.

    Cons

    1) Low pay rate, at-least that was issue in my first year term.
2)Typical consultancy company, tries to squeeze every penny from you.
    3) Once you are placed you are money machine. They will not even bother about you that are you alive or dead. Once in every 2 months marketing guy will send you an email for touchbase with same text every time.
    4) They train in one discipline but marketed in other filed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The training method could be more better. They train in Business Analyst extensively but market in whatever market is hot. For a fresher, he/she needs market in whatever is available but it makes it difficult to get job and then survive if you get one. Training should be provided in those field that have good market.
