Pros
a very friendly working environment
Cons
Salary is not very attractive
Advice to Senior Management
Good for graduates to start their job, but not really recommended to stay there in long term. Development is very limited
Pros
The company is on the forefront of innovation within the PC industry.
Great products and brand ideology.
Most of the employees are very nice.
Cons
The company is very cheap.
Everyone is Chinese, so if you aren't, the culture difference may set you apart.
A complaint I hear from all the employees is that you will be underpaid no matter what position you work.
Advice to Senior Management
I believe the company will grow just fine, the people within it are the ones that I worry about. Maybe spend a little bit more to make your employees more comfortable. Everyone works hard, but everyone also seems to be dissatisfied.
Pros
You can learn a lot
Cons
Narrow thinking and not ready to take risk
Pros
You can learn many advanced technologies of PC industry, make many good friends, be familiar with hard working environment, and make some money.
Cons
You will encounter unfair performance review, unfair job position promotion, unclear job arrangement, unwillingly over hour work, and political competition.
Advice to Senior Management
Make a fair and clear policy for performance review, job position promotion criteria. Improve the situation of over working hours. Provide management training and evaluation for all managers.
Pros
Genius People, Famous company, Impressive product
Cons
Overworking, sometimes you will feel it's really tired
Advice to Senior Management
You have to follow orders and finish your job quickly
Pros
they are very professional, and develop very good product. And working environment is awesome. Also, they have swimming pool, gym, and very cheap restuant inside.
Cons
Working time is a bit long, but worthy. The living price in Taipei city(headquarter) is quite high. But, this is a good company
Advice to Senior Management
This is a well organized company. Everything is organized well. If you look for a stable job, this company is a good choice
Pros
ASUS allows young employees to do many advanced jobs, so new fresh can have chances to do big scope work
Cons
No real professional guys in the positions outside engineering
Advice to Senior Management
We need to have leaders with vision. And, please hire more experienced professional people to build a sustainable enterprise.
Pros
The best IT company, best R&D resource in Taiwan
Cons
poor salary and bonus for employee
Advice to Senior Management
performance evaluation method to be improved
Pros
It has established its name in Taiwan, Asia, and most part of the world. Clear benefit guidelines. Very international company and is pushing hard to differentiate its technology and brand. Many young talents in the company.
Cons
Very poor organizational structure and poor management. A very political company. Most of the top managers are just fillers, they are not good at managing the company. High turnover rates in many divisions. Weak in software development. Not innovative enough in terms of industrial design.
Advice to Senior Management
There is a lot of politics within the company and endless useless meetings. Recommend to work with top tier consultants to improve company operation and reinforce company strategies.
Pros
Great place to gain global scope and training
Cons
Need to adjust to the work culture there.
Salary is going to be pretty low
Advice to Senior Management
Need more concern for employee development, perhaps sponsor to get an MBA
