    Cons

Taking time off was always an issue, too much work for one person, and we were never given the tools we needed to do our job efficiently.

    Pros

Friendly team members. Great sense of family. I felt appreciated for what I do. My director went out of her way to let me take time off when I need to, then made up later.

    Cons

Clients change their mind a lot at the last minute. No budget for raises or bonuses. Full time position is offered only when you are agree to move with your own expense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Making contractors move to different cities in order to take on a full time positions with their own expense is not a good policy. The company will loose many talents.

Former Employee - Telecommunications Spec/Central Office Tech in Columbus, OH

    Pros

AT&T provides superior communications service to all its customers 24/7. They treat their employees with the highest respect.

    Cons

On occasion, AT&T will treat all facilities as identical when one or two of those offices may be entirely different. Therefore, man-power and services for those offices should be adjusted accordingly. Yet, management do not make those adjustments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should consider constructive comments of the technicians regarding operations and maintenance of communications equipment.

Former Employee - Customer Sales & Service in Columbus, OH

    Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, and you were free to handle client concerns without much interference from management.

    Cons

As far as legacy AT&T goes, a lot of the management began as reps on the phone and were promoted. This is good for them, but unfortunately many of them lacked management skills.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please train your leadership to ensure they have the skills necessary to effectively manage others.
