    Pros

The hours are flexible if you're working part time, tuition reimbursement, and easy goals

    Cons

Unrealistic ideas and positioning of products. Managers are unqualified and barely know how to take care of themselves, let alone a team of sales personnel.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on customer experience within the stores.

I have been working at AT&T

    Pros

I cannot think of any pros's. It's a large company and if you do what they say, even if it's morally wromg, you'll be able to keep your job

    Cons

Very degrading to employees. M gt is very disrespectfull. The union is pathetic. Pay sucks.

    Advice to Management

    Jump off a cliff

    Pros

Better than average, maybe even great benefits -- especially if you have a union job.

Are there opportunities to move up? Sure, if you want to play the game.

    Cons

This is an old company that hasn't really kept up with the times as far as how they run things. Many jobs are like working in a factory, with a "punch the clock" kind of feel, even if you're on salary. Middle management is weak at best. Upper management is comfortable.

If you want good training, you have to seek it out. What they provide you is average.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people. Drop the ego. Look at the big picture rather than daily numbers or other short term things.

  7. Start treating your employees like people and not numbers

    Pros

Resume builder, get to develop employees and working with new faces (customers) every day

    Cons

NO WORK/LIFE BALANCE....!!! You are treated as a number and no longer like a person. We are measured and judged on certain numbers which is understandable and part of our everyday job. But when the company starts caring more about their pockets and less about their employees and customers, there's a HUGE problem with that. Morals do not exist with this company anymore

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the RLDP program...!!! You can't put young kids in a classroom for 6 months and expect them to run multi-million dollar stores. Most of these kids can't even talk to a wall, let a alone coach/develop employees, work with upset customers and do what's right because you can't teach personality.

    Pros

    Cons

Taking time off was always an issue, too much work for one person, and we were never given the tools we needed to do our job efficiently.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to look at what's going on below you. People are miserable.
