    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is great, you learn a lot that will translate into a better job, you meet great people (customers)

    Cons

you are reminded how easily replaceable you are, you are as good as your sales, numbers are the only thing that matters, very competitive, managers are uptight and play favoritism to girls who suck them off, tenured reps are miserable and will make you miserable

    Advice to Management

    Employee loyalty is everything.

  2. Great company to work for. But very stressful environment and no work life balance.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It's a great company that cares about their employees. They offer great pay and also have great benefits. Depending on the management team of the location it can be a really fun place to work at.

    Cons

No work-life balance. Most shifts are 9 to 10 hour days. It can be really stressful with 20+ metrics to keep up with managements expectations.

I have been working at AT&T (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No stress about taking work home. If you get a bad caller the next one could be the sweetest person ever.

    Cons

Sometimes had to deal with irate people. Schedule is based off seniority so sometimes stuck with crap schedule. Call times are important but it is not always an easy fix.

    Advice to Management

Great place to work with awesome benefits. Great people and environment. Lots of training is great also. Scripts are good but shouldn't be pushed so much on reps.

    Pros

Very strong training program. Very dedicated and loyal employee's.

    Cons

Poor Management and targets are always moving on metrics without support or knowledge of the market.

    Advice to Management

Executives need to spend more time in the markets understanding the region and the people that live within it. Not every market is the same and income levels can affect buyers decisions.
