    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I was really proud to work there. Leadership training. Support. Great resources, and excellent executive management. Attended one of the best Innovation workshops while at AT&T. Committed to changing culture. So proud of the Labs, patents and nobel prizes.

    Cons

Because of it's size. there are LOADS of processes. Ordering a stapler can take you a 1/2 a day. You were constantly working to keep up with reorgs and understanding available resources and useful internal contacts within the org.

    Advice to Management

Keep changing with the times. Continue investing in innovation and The Labs.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

this is from the retail sales perspective: decent pay with opportunities to make good commission. Good benefits, and if you're lucky you can get a good store with great co-workers.

    Cons

The work schedule is a bidding process that goes in order by seniority. So because you're new you will work nothing but closing shifts, you will work every weekend and every holiday. There is absolutely no work-life balance. You will see your co-workers more than your own family.

I have been working at AT&T (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No stress about taking work home. If you get a bad caller the next one could be the sweetest person ever.

    Cons

Sometimes had to deal with irate people. Schedule is based off seniority so sometimes stuck with crap schedule. Call times are important but it is not always an easy fix.

    Advice to Management

Great place to work with awesome benefits. Great people and environment. Lots of training is great also. Scripts are good but shouldn't be pushed so much on reps.

I have been working at AT&T full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

It's a great company that cares about their employees. They offer great pay and also have great benefits. Depending on the management team of the location it can be a really fun place to work at.

    Cons

No work-life balance. Most shifts are 9 to 10 hour days. It can be really stressful with 20+ metrics to keep up with managements expectations.

    I worked at AT&T full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

In order to be successful, you must have a positive attitude, like what you do, and make a difference every day.

    Cons

As a large corporation, it sometimes felt as if we made too many quick decisions, for cost, as opposed to doing what's right for the customer and employee

    Advice to Management

Listen when your customers and employees speak, not just from a survey, but hold feedback sessions, and truly listen.
