    Pros

My only concern was working for a famous company, which offered me a related job according to my education. I was happy with my job. I could handle every task vary well. My manager and CEO both was very satisfied with me and my quality of my work, and they gave some benefits exceptionally to me time to time.

    Cons

The worst challenge there is the HR department. They always try to reduce from your salary even illegally. They hide some information to prevent you benefit from the rules and regulations, which are even passed by the company or nationally. For example, how you can get some loan from the company or free flight tickets.

    Advice to Management

First, all the HR team should be fired and new people should be hired. Second, the salary range should be increased immediately; otherwise, more people will quit or will work with dissatisfaction.

I worked at ATA Airlines full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Culture was outstanding - team work was never forced. Great learning environment and plenty of opportunities to those who applied themselves.

    Cons

Difficult industry so made it tough to compete with the limited resources available. Finally went out of business due to competitive maneuvering.

    Pros

ATA gave me a chance straight out of school, so I will always be grateful to them. Worked with some great people, too

    Cons

The payscale was horrendous, just about the bottom rung of any established airline. Stupidly cold weather working the midnight shift outside at O'Hare Int. Welcome to aviation !

    Advice to Management

Maint. management was clearly riding the clock until retirement. What are you going to do ? Make the best of it I suppose.

    Pros

It was good while it lasted but it ATA Airlines should make a good business study of how a company without set marketing goals will fail.

    Cons

It was good while it lasted, however, the company did not have great benefits for traveling on other carriers especially international.

    Advice to Management

Well, the company is now shutdown but again this is a good business study for business schools to analyze how a company can fail without proper marketing strategies.

ATA had that entreprenurial spirit and Indy was a great town. It was a family group and very flexibible. Too bad.

    Cons

    Well, strategic planning lacked some.
