Current Employee – been working at AVR Realty

Pros – The benefits are good. It is close to home and the highways. Management could use some improvement as does the technology. They do skimp on office equipment and furniture.

Cons – Some management, communication, distribution of work loads, technology, clarification of chain of command, recognition of employee achievements, employee handbook is completely ignored and some employees can get away with anything with no consequences.

Advice to Senior Management – Redefine the responsibilities of each employee, department and management. Workloads on each employee and demands on employees is uneven. provide mandatory performance evaluations yearly. Get rid of some dead weight employees

Current Employee – been working at AVR Realty for more than 7 years

Pros – Decent health benefits. Free coffee. Not much more to add to this list. Only writing because there is a 20 word minimum.

Cons – AVR executives and management do not recognize and incentivize employees. They do not regularly perform annual reviews and raises in salary are hardly given. There are so many employees that have been there for over 5 years that have not seen a raise in their pay checks and their reasoning is that the economy is slow. Executives and management however receive extremely well compensation which includes travel expense, company car, etc.
Office environment... non-existent. Employees are overworked, unfairly treated, and not recognized for their commitment to the company.

Advice to Senior Management – Learn to appreciate your employees. Incentivizing and rewarding top performers through salary raises and other means of compensation is beneficial for the company! Open your eyes!!! Many of us smile and work hard to get through the day so we can support our families. That does not mean that we are happy working here!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
