Might be able to get requested time off if it isnt too busy
a great place to learn how to work independantly.

Managment that does nothing but bully their employees
no life what so ever out side of work
bad shifting rotation

Advice to Senior Management

Respect your employees... the Emplyee moral issues are directly related to your managments intereactions with the union emplyees... the union is not evil it is only inplace vecause managemnt has mistreated its employees

Pros

Well i guess i could find a few reasons to work for Telav. I guess there is the fact we get to play with big toys everyday. and there is some flexability in the shifting. there are temporary summer seasonal lay offs so if you was 2 months paid off on EI. the workplace is unionized so there are fewer fears of managememnt trying to bully you into doing something that feels wrong.

Cons

Poor Managment causes a poor work environment where everyone tries to pass the buck. there is no mid level managment direction and absolutly no follow up on employee concerns as they relate to employee moral. The managment unit continues to alow people with very poor performance to continue to be employed while letting the good employees walk away and will not look at the internal problems that are causing people to talk away

Advice to Senior Management

What are you doing? There is no supervision of your midlevel managers? you need to figure out a direction you want to go in and show the leadership to get there
