    Pros

Really is what you make it. Don't think their is another company that can match the early sales training.

    Cons

Gotta get used to people leaving, but typical in this business. Costs to work their are pretty high once your over 5 years in (E class).

    Advice to Management

Care about more than the top 1% performers.

    Pros

This is not a Job, you are are business owner. with all the pros and Cons that will come with that. This is a very challenging Job. It helps if you have a strong natural market, i didn't really know anyone so it was very challenging. I've been here for about a year and I work a lot to stay working here. I averaged around 60 hours per week. The pay is good if you can get a lot of clients 30% bonus on top of your PCS. My gross my first year was about 37k minus expenses that more like 31k. be ready to have at least a year of savings before you start, usually it wont pay anything significant in 6 months.

    Cons

my expenses were high since once you contract you pay 85 for the tech package, all your marketing, E/O insurance (250) gas and remaining expenses i averaged about 560 per month. Once you become more established you pay for more stuff, like share the staff salaries, cube space and other things. That will depend on the development of each advisor.

    Pros

The people working for AXA are some of the best. You will receive great support and truly feel like a part of the team from day 1 in the office. Plenty of room to grow your business if the situation is ideal.

    Cons

Majority of business comes from 403b market; which lends itself to minimal commissions. It is all luck of the draw as to whether you are assigned a blooming market or a neutral to declining one.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on tangible business strategies rather than preaching about intangibles. While important, having actual implemented strategies lead to better results than simply teaching someone "How to succeed."

    Pros

Great training and leadership. Benefits are satisfactory and the compensation is straight commission. Be prepared to work hard if you plan to be successful.

    Cons

The challenge I found after a few years was generating new business. This business requires many referrals and is based on the number of relationships you can develop and maintain.

Very family-oriented company, great Work Life Balance, everyone was so nice

    Cons

Lack of professional training, high turnover, no base pay for entry-level employees, not very interesting job

    Advice to Management

The management themselves were capable, but needed to deliver the excellence effectively to their subordinates

    Pros

Good training with a very helpful staff and management. Strong sales method. If you follow their sales training to the end, you should be successful.

    Cons

AXA Advisors tries to position itself and a balanced non-biased financial planning firm. However, it needs to be made very clear that they are in the business of selling life insurance.

    Pros

The employer and the whole work environment is friendly, you learn about the business and it's flexible.

    Cons

The downside was it was not the work field of my choice, but it was something and I'm glad I was apart of it.

    Pros

Team pushes you to generate results. Regular input on performance. Not hard to get advice when needed. Tasks with clear impact are given to patient, hard-working individuals.

    Cons

Culture is extremely competitive and strongly discourages interacting with most others around workplace. Support/assistance is scarce otherwise.

    Advice to Management

Incorporate more training options (e.g. online resources) for more driven individuals
