Pros
Great work life balance . We need to work on projects at different locations and there is a allowance for work from home
Cons
Lower salary than our competitors in the same market . The salary at other companies is higher than that that at this company
Advice to Senior Management
the advise would be to look at other companies around the same place and do a very realistic benchmarking before salary determination
Pros
prestige of being part of a renowned global organization
Cons
not enough roles to promote into in australia
Advice to Senior Management
not enough roles to promote into in australia
Pros
Good employee support with an understanding for personal needs and a good remuneration structure. The group as a whole was focussed on some key long term initiatives but their was often a disconnect between this and the Key Result Areas we were measured on.
Cons
Lack of non-financial recognition for consistent and excellent results. A strong silo culture within certain areas and others that lacked a commercial veiwpoint. Also the inability for management to explain the disconnect listed above. A talent pool with pro-active conversations to dicuss and position opportunities through the group would be beneficial to retaining and exposing employees to the greater group.
Advice to Senior Management
More effort needs to be provided to support the growth and retention of quality employees
