    Pros

Good benefits, 401K, employee discounts, tuition reimbursement only for salaried employees. The Outlook of the company is pretty darn good, but management discourages employees playing an active role in the betterment of this company.

    Cons

There is no diversity in upper management. Management has no respect or even common courtesy for employees and no desire to retain or develop its staff. First level managers possess absolutely no professionalism, no ethics and no conscience. The turnover is through the roof. HR has just as many issues and policy violations as the rest of the company so no need to complain to them.

    Advice to Management

If you're really interested, take a real look at what's going on below you. Talk to people, find out what's going on. If not, keep doing what you're doing. I'm sure you'll be fine.

    Pros

Paid Holidays, Sundays off. Vacation and personal time are awesome

    Cons

The hours are ALL day long from morning until night. It's very hard to work here if you have a family.

    Advice to Management

Take your days off and use your personal time

    Pros

Competitive environment, steady paycheck, teamwork, bonus opportunities, your success dictates your position in the company.

    Cons

Favoritism, way too many hours, no life away from work, often heavy lifting not good for your back. All of these things mainly a business issue not a knock on the company. Big company some people are great some arent.

    Advice to Management

Make sure managers are taking their days off and the consistent producers of numbers are getting promoted.

    Pros

Decent pay. There is also a chance for bonuses but it requires everyone in the store to do good to get your bonuses so they are rare.

    Cons

Lots of hours. No time for family. No 401k with current franchise. Not enough time off. Company tells you what they want you to hear to get you in the door. Too much favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Not much to say here but maybe do away with the buddy buddy system for promotions.

    Pros

Full time work. Get to work outside. Consistent schedule. Great exercise.

    Cons

No overtime. Very difficult physical labor. Low pay not worth difficulty of work. Treated unfairly by management and other coworkers.

    Advice to Management

You say we PTs are the backbone of the company, so treat and pay us better.

  11. An ok job Customer service representative

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative in Forest Park, GA

    I worked at Aaron's full-time

    Pros

if you like to start at 10 am and finish at sometimes 7:30 or 8:30 then this job is for you. it can be boring all day if no one comes in. The general manager used to let the account manager do whatever he wanted and let the sales manager and myself do all the work. My hat off to the sales manager.

    Cons

all of the above Plus the account manager would stick his nose in things he shouldn't have had. He would lie to customers about merchandise just to get sales for the day and then the next day we would have negative numbers. He did things like used the company car to eat out or wouldn't come back for over an hour and then would say he didn't go to his home when we knew he had. There is a problem with management.

    Advice to Management

Set a stable schedule. Just because someone is a manager doesn't mean they can do anything they want.
