    Pros

No respect. Low pay. hard to make sales goals. High expectations with no gratitude.

    Cons

    Low pay. Disrespect
    Hours are bad
Management continues to threaten you about goals and employment
Hard to get a promotion or raise Unless you are Preferred.

    Advice to Management

Treat your workers the right way and the turnover rate will not be so high. I went through about 30 people incl managers in one year. I have been training people, never got a raise or a promotion even with all my hard work, and sacrifices.

    Pros

Most of the custmoers a decent to work with

    Cons

The managers try to over power on another so there is no structure. One even looks for reason to get rid of people if she doesnt like you.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the title of your job and stop trying to over step your authority.

    Pros

1-week paid vacation every 6 months, good learning opportunity (you learn a lot), senior management was nice (although not involved much)

    Cons

broken promises regarding pay raises, no work-life balance, toxic work environment, cheap (they do not know how to invest), conflict-of-interest issues, upper management not involved, unethical practices, management-employee relationship is broken, Human Resources department is the worst I've ever seen, management has no integrity

    Advice to Management

Worst company I've worked for. Fire yourself!

    Pros

Sundays off. Meeting friendly people in store traffic.

    Cons

Working late hours. Poor organization skills with labor planning. Management not trained to relate to hourly associates with any due respect as it relates to positive, constructive appreciation to production.

    Advice to Management

Train sales and general managers to be leaders with their associates rather than just sale managers for store profit.

  9. I enjoyed working with my coworkers. This is a retail/collections job.

    Pros

Helping people to obtain what they need without credit. I enjoyed working with my co workers and my store manager

    Cons

Long hours/unresponsive upper management. Upper management strives to belittle and intimidate in order to achieve their goals.

    Advice to Management

Leadership through fear/intimidation does not work. All that is accomplished is that the best leave and you are left with those that merely want to collect a paycheck.

    Pros

Love connecting the right merchandise to the right person. The belief that everyone deserves the best things in life is strong here and Aarons affords many the opportunity whereas Rent a Center does not. Ownership means a lot to so many and we help with that. Feels good at the end of a long week. Work for a great regional/fp who respects your efforts and you won't be disappointed.

    Cons

Hours and balance of family and work. Pay is decent not for time spent in stores though. Collections is not for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Keep the expectations real and appreciate the people who work day in and out at the store level. They don't always feel it from GMs and need to know they are appreciated too. Reevaluate pay scales.

  11. No room for advancement as a delivery driver.
