    Pros

It's pretty laid back on a slow day when your DM isn't around. You're your own boss for the most part. The people are pretty awesome.

    Cons

The salary is abysmal for the amount of work you can get on high volume seasons. They expect you to reach some pretty unobtainable goals at times.

    Pros

    You meet really awesome people
Pay for assistant manager position isn't that bad considering it's a pretty easy job.
    Laid back work environment

    Cons

Bad hours for managers. Not a typical 9-5 if that is what you're lookjng for.
Upper management doesnt really care about your work. They only care about your looks.
    No raises

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more feedback to the managers in stores.

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Made life-long friends, gave experience in retail, good relationships with most managers, flexible hours, new and more positive CEO.

    Cons

Poor hours after holidays, some favoritism by managers, some inappropriate behavior between associates and (few) managers, caddiness as you are working with mostly teenagers and mid 20s adults.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not over-hire, as hours can be REALLY bad

    Pros

Always able to take off time. Flexible with schedules.

    Cons

You never receive raises, even when asked for. I worked for the company for 3 years and remainder at minimum wage the entire time. As a model you are only guaranteed 2 shifts a week, unless you pick up others shifts from other co-workers, or talk to the store manager one-on-one to get more hours.

I worked at Abercrombie & Fitch part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

-The managers are generally laid back.
-I got a lot of hours while working there, especially during the winter (December-January season)
-It's fun to interact with co-workers. We all felt like family. Everyone there is really friendly

    Cons

-The pay is pretty bad (minimum wage)
-No pay increases over time (at least not for models and impacts)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure to swap model duties. There were times when I would be stuck in the front room for my entire (usually 5-hour shift). That got really boring!

I have been working at Abercrombie & Fitch (less than a year)

    Pros

Great job for a teenager, discounts on all their clothes, first come first serve on new clothes, free clearance items, high pay for short amounts of time.

    Cons

You must wear their clothes, must fit into the clothes, environment (cologne, lighting, loud music)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of locking the changing rooms, we should just keep them open unless someone is inside and can lock it from the inside. Also, we should have uniforms or have to wear matching clothes so that customers know we are the employees.
