I have been working at Abernathy MacGregor Group full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    1. Flexible work load
    2. Bonuses
    3. Small company, thus you have the ability to get noticed and promoted quickly
    4. They give you a blackberry (although it's more like a leash)

    Cons

    1. Absolutely no diversity
    2. You work in small groups, so if you don't get along with the team you're out of luck. Theres no opportunity for the rest of the company to see your potential or efforts.
    3. You never leave on time!
    4. You have to work ridiculous graveyard shifts and weekends sometimes (basically on call 24/7)
    5. No team-bonding or culture
    6. There are very exclusive cliques. If you're new or unlike the others you can count on being left out of the happy hours and social activities, which also means no possibility of moving up.
    7. I would go days without anyone speaking to me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put much more effort into diversity outreach and creating a company culture. Also, you need to recognize that employees have lives outside of the company. The work/life balance is nonexistent.
