I have been working at Abol Software full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company is growing fast and across the globe. With offices in Woodstock, London, Germany, and Hong Kong, there's plenty of room to grow. Management likes to do little things like free lunches, social night (beer nights). Christmas gifts, and Halloween contests. Espresso machine and free snacks. The company is very stable financially, and covers 90% of health insurance costs for employees and family. Also, for most people, getting to the office means going away from traffic. Managers expect a lot, but I think they treat people fairly.

    Cons

Some departments are understaffed. There is a very large learning curve, mostly because the products are highly customized.

  2. Overwhelmed, Understaffed, and Unqualified

I worked at Abol Software full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent salary for the area. Nice coffee maker. Good area to work.

    Cons

They are grasping at straws trying to figure out how to scale a business, which no one there has the ability to do. Cramped offices (2-3 per small office). Insane after hours requirements. Much of the staff is wholly unqualified and have integrity issues. They are more prone to assessing blame than resolving issues.

    Advice to Management

Get a Project Management Leader. Organize your infrastructure and hire more employees. Stop overpromising on what you don't know how to deliver.
