    Pros

flexible time and work from home options are great. You get about 22 day plus one floating holiday. However if you are working on a client site and the client is open you can modify the holiday to another day.

    Cons

High Performance Delivered is the driving call. We work hard to satisfy our client obligations which means there are many times while on a project you will work like crazy. I have truly improved my presentation creations in an airplane

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I love the way Sr. Management is accessible. Keep up the good work on that.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Accenture is a great company with a lot of market acceptance and clients. Benefits are above average, culture is good and if you are a recent grad and stay for most of your career it can be a fantastic place to work.

    Cons

If you are a sales resource, especially a professional hire be prepared to work at an organization that does not value you. That looks at you as someone that is looking for a commission first and adding value second and be prepared to spend most of your time dealing with internal BS to get on the right deals. After you are on a deal, you will need to fight to stay on and work HARD to make sure you do not get screwed out of the commission when you win. This company does not apply its sales commission process uniformly, it is very subjective and it can leave you high and dry on earnings. My advice is to get into delivery, follow the Managing Director track and conform to the old culture or be prepared to get very very frustrated and miss out on what is rightly owed to you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn that the old "partner or managing director model" will not allow you to grow profitably beyond the point where you are today. Professional sales people should be hired, given a fixed set of accounts and a territory and turned loose to go get business. Steam line the comp model, align objectives between Managing Directors and Sales Executives, move to a model where Sales leaders make the decisions on new work with new clients and limit MD decisions to existing accounts. The contention in the internal structure is killing sales productivity. Get your MDs over the commission jealousy they have when it comes to sales people.
