I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

A lot of trainings and the collateral leadership is nice. Also gaining the experience is quiet fast here.

    Cons

You have to work a lot and earn not the same money like someone from the Consulting Workforce. But you do the same job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please harmonize the company more and stop hire and let go Accenture Technology Solution people after 3-4 years. They have to increase the pay for this people.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Creative and structured approach
    Challenging
    Good coaching
    Good teams

    Cons

Hard working on projects means different projects and divers bosses. (and coaches). Many of the work depends on that. Most are lucky with bosses and coaching but there may be some who are staffed on wrong project with the wrong boss. Ether they survive or they leave unhappy.

    I worked at Accenture

    Pros

    None, none and again none!!!

    Cons

Once started I quickly realized that I was engaged in a fake company. The working environment is toxic and you will be confronted with unsatisfied customers and unsatisfied employees on a daily basis (due to wrong project calculation and empty promisses). Most of the people were unprofessional, unreliable, back-stabbers, brown-nosers and without any in-depth knowledge. Lies, lies and again lies. I guess that these points are the real values of this corporation. I never met so many people trying to hide their activities. No respect towards experienced hires. This company is not interested in its employees. The only thing that matters is to stay chargeable. The work can even be done by primary-school pupils. Nothing ambitious. One project member was working as an order-pharmacist before attending ACN (without holding a unversity degree). Another project memeber does not even knows the difference between gross and net price, but deducted price negotiations. It often happened that one experienced hire was placed on a project in order to cover the inability and faults of the remaining young analysists who are thinking they are "THE" consultants on this planet. You will never get rewarded for your work, you will never get any support and you will never make a career within ACN. The projects and the roles are a disaster (you will be placed on each project and you will hold any role without consideration of your qualifications and experiences). Inspite of that you will be cheated, ignored and lied. It is not the appropriate company to establish long-term relationships or to plan in the long-run. This company is rather harmful for your professional career. I was very disappointed recognizing that such huge company is full of fake people doing nothing else than playing games and politics. One nursery facility. Experienced hires should stay away from this company. It is not the right place for sound personalities with many years of professional experience. You will fastly get frustrated and annoyed by dealing with those people. Additionally, the working environment is very aggressive. Most of the employees are not able to build up social relationships or do not even posses interpersonal skills. Hence you will face borderline personalities whose are switching their mood every two minutes. The attrition rate is higher than the market average. Conclusion: Join at your own risk!!! This company cannot be taken seriously.
