I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good place to have a learning experiences, in each projects you'll find new things, even on the similar projects. Accenture push you to have a can-do attitudes; be persistent will help you survive. Have diversified communities where you can meet office-mates to do other activities but work.

    Cons

Long working hours, less work life balance. I experienced some work-quality problem that was sacrificed for margin anf deadlines. Some experience hires does not match Accenture quality in term of work and cultures, must be some black hole in the recruitment method. In the country I worked for, salary are no match to other consulting companies; you'll get paid better somewhere else.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Accenture has done a good job to maintain its culture, integrity and respect for the individual. But need to improve the quality of experience hires (or the recruitment method).

I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good reputation, great customer relationship, great exposure to business. A supportive working environment.

    Cons

Long working hours, high pressure from management and high expectation. Performance is not always rated based on merit but also by internal relationship with higher management level. Have standard method for project in theory, but often in practice each PM invented new methodology / procedure which resulted in varied delivery methodology / procedure. Not the best pay in the market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to add soft skills training like communication skills, behavior management, emotional literacy, etc. As I often meet managers and senior managers in Accenture who are excel in work related knowledge and skills but have terrible emotional maturity and communication skills.
