I have been working at Accenture full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Accenture offers a great professional exposure to its employees. The company has myriad large engagements with leading corporations world-wide thus there are plenty of opportunities to for anyone who is getting into the game. The Accenture experience also valued by industy competitors and companies alike so that's a good value add.

Another great thing Accenture is focus on employee development through trainings and networkings, that works out really well as well.

    Cons

The company is massive (~300K) employees thus naturally there is lot of bureaucracy and processes etc. Promotions are not easy to come and the company's culture promotes cut-throat competition even if that includes sycophancy and doing unnecessary things e.g. running a photography club. If you are not into these things - won't recommend.

The Experienced Hires are at huge disadvantage and often struggle to fit in for a year at least (I myself was one). Last but not the least salaries are average or below average...they manage to tough bargain some how.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    free food, coffees, sweets, goodies

    Cons

leadership close to dictatorship, micromanagement, lack of core values, no vision except than "performance, delivered",
1 email out of 30 is relevant, the rest is spamming
recruitment process is weird, I got at one stage a phone call a day from the outsourced recruitment team to ask me basically to do their job...I could continue endlessly as the list is massive...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Accenture as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Very multinacional company which makes you to enjoy a bit more.

    Cons

Accenture does not know how to retain talent, they prefere to hire someone from outside instead of Inside. You are 1 more person in million.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should consider taliking to a staff, investigate the reason and try to accomodate in the better position. However its a waste of time for them.
