Pros
Great management team with top MBAs; An environment where learning is appreciated and coaching is available
Cons
Non-stop travel and long hours but should be expected in this line of work
Pros
Accenture is a good company to start out at. There are decent opportunities for advancement, ok pay, and clients to work at.
Cons
Too many long hours and nights, be prepared to work weekends, partners and senior management are in accessible, you have to find your own jobs
Advice to Senior Management
There is too much turnover in this company for any type of knowledge capital to be retained. Try to make an effort to keep your good employees.
Pros
Name recognition, respected well-known employer in its field. Ability to work remotely/telecommute.
Cons
Management is disrespectful of contractors. "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" mentality when contractors leave the company. Unprofessional manner in which they wrap up with departing contractors, lack of communication.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your contractors the way you would treat employees when they leave the company. As former ambassadors of the firm, they will or won't share their experiences with others when asked.
